Why mastectomy clothing instead of mastectomy underwear? 

Clothing such as tops, T-shirts or tank tops with integrated prosthesis pockets into which you can insert your breast prosthesis are very practical and comfortable clothing for external breast prostheses. 

They can be very useful in different situations: 

At night: Some people may not be able to sleep well due to the feeling of imbalance in their breasts after breast surgery. Lightweight clothing like the Valletta top prevents you from sleeping with a bra but allows you to put on a breast prosthesis at night and sleep more comfortably. 

Summer: Wearing a bra can be very uncomfortable in hot weather or when you have trouble sweating. Here, too, breast prosthesis clothing can easily replace a bra. Thanks to the bra integrated into the clothing, you can also wear your breast prosthesis without a bra. Elegant and very practical, these garments for prostheses can be worn like a camisole under a sweater, but also like a classic t-shirt. 

Stay calm at home. We all have days when we don't really want to dress up. So wear your prosthesis in an external breast form tank top and enjoy your rest day.

How to dress after breast surgery ?

We recommend that you wear loose, cotton clothing that is easy to put on and take off for the first few months after breast surgery. In addition, we recommend that you wear a post-op bra or bra right after a mastectomy. 

Later, after a few months of recovery, you can dress as you wish and wear external breast prosthesis clothing every day if you wish!
