A long, elegant partial hair prosthesis for women
The Cidre hair crown by Ellen Wille is a very long cut that ranges from 40 to 60 cm in length. Don't hesitate to have this length retouched by a professional to suit your style.
The lengths of this medical hairpiece are slightly tapered for controlled volume on the sides and light, natural movement.
Finally, this chemo hairpiece has no fringe. Feel free to add a fringe in the same colour as your half-wig to add an even more natural touch.
Please note that this long half-wig is not heat-resistant!
To care for your wig, here are a few essential tips:
To style your wig, use a brush suitable for synthetic hair and start gently with the ends and work your way up to the roots.
How do I clean a synthetic wig?
To wash your wig (about 3 times a month), soak it in cold water with a dab of special wig shampoo for a quarter of an hour, then rinse it in clean water. Blot it with a towel without wringing it out and leave it to dry on a support (prosthesis holder, shower head, etc.). To reduce the number of washes, it's best to wear an under-cap.
After wearing it, leave it for a few hours with the cap facing outwards before storing it in its net flat in a box, preferably with a ball of tissue paper inside the cap.
Synthetic Fibre (Modacrylic)
NB. This fibre cannot handle any heat source (hair dryers, straighteners, hot water…). It is the most popular fibre used in the making of wigs due to its large choice of colours.
Certain wigs have a Lace Front: A fine lace mesh placed at the front of the wig to ressemble the hair line, for a more natural look.
