The Natural silicium top coat has been to designed to provide maximum nail protection, particularly during chemotherapy, especially taxol and taxotere-based treatments. The natural silicium top coat is a transparent nail varnish that is applied over your coloured varnish for increased protection and hold. Applied over a clear or pink varnish, it is particularly discreet, perfect for those who do not like wearing nail varnish.
The high-tolerance formula is enriched with several active ingredients with properties particularly adapted to the nail's needs: silicium, which strengthens and protects, particularly during some chemotherapy treatments, vitamin E to regenerate the nail, and minerals (iron, zinc, calcium, sulphur) to strengthen the nail. This special formula is formaldehyde-free, formaldehyde resin-free, toluen-free, colophane-free, free of chemical filters, nickel-free and paraben-free.
For maximum protection, particularly during chemotherapy treatment, which can weaken the nail, follow these steps:
1. Remove old nail varnish with an acetone-free nail varnish remover
2. Apply a base coat of transparent ultra nail varnish silicium-urea
3. Apply two layers of coloured ultra nail varnish silicium-urea, with UVA and UVB protection if undergoing photosensitizing treatment
4. Apply a top coat of transparent ultra nail varnish silicium-urea to fix the colour
It is possible to make a few small retouches if your varnish is chipped, but we recommend removing the varnish completely in order to avoid suffocating weakened nails
This formula is free of formalin, toluene (solvent), camphor, chemical filters, nickel and parabens.
